Since our inception in 1989, we have grown to more than 125 specialists and have served some of Canada’s largest utilities, telecommunications providers, municipalities and corporations with customized solutions that include planning and design, CAD, GPS surveys, Lidar processing, GIS mapping and more.

Craig Mann, B.Sc.

Chief Business Officer

With almost three decades of industry experience, Craig is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of driving strategic growth and operational excellence. Co-President and co-owner of QSP for many years, he played a pivotal role in shaping QSP’s vision, setting strategic goals, and overseeing budgets and operations. Craig expanded the company’s workforce and capabilities through strategic partnerships, fostering innovation and adapting to evolving market conditions.

Craig continues to provide strong leadership by working with other executives to establish short- and long-term goals, guiding departmental teams to meet their objectives, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision. He oversees QSP’s operations, resources, and budget allocation, while fostering investment opportunities and ensuring accountability to shareholders. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong commitment to the company’s mission, Craig is dedicated to adapting swiftly to market changes and ensuring continued growth and success.

Paul Giovannetti

Vice President, Operations
With over 20 years of experience in the utility, infrastructure, and energy industries, Paul has built a diverse and progressive career, holding a variety of roles across construction, quality management, planning, project management, and leadership positions within large construction, engineering, and utility companies. This extensive background has given Paul a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities across these industries, enabling him to effectively lead teams and drive successful outcomes for QSP.
Paul oversees Operations, Project Management Office, Safety, and Business Development teams, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality services, efficient project execution, and continuous improvement for both customers and the organization. He is accountable for strategic planning and execution, performance management, and organizational development, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations. Paul is also a key driver of innovation, leading the development of collaborative, cost-effective solutions across a wide range of custom services to meet client needs. He plays an active role in several corporate initiatives, including spearheading the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) Program, demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility and long-term sustainable business practices. With a focus on performance, strategy, and innovation, Paul continues to be a driving force in the company’s growth and success.

Sonia Padamadan, P.Eng., MBA

Director, Engineering

With over 18 years of diverse experience in the energy and healthcare sectors, Sonia brings a wealth of expertise in engineering, operations, project management, and strategic leadership. She has valuable experience in cross-functional collaboration and technology integration.

Sonia is responsible for developing and managing engineering design and drafting services, including station and pipeline design. She also leads records work streams, focusing on GIS-based gas asset management and overseeing special projects related to asset records. With a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and driving successful outcomes, Sonia is committed to advancing organizational goals while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Tracy Witney, PMP

Director, Client Development & PMO
With over a decade of experience in construction project management, Tracy has consistently demonstrated a proven ability to lead complex initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction. Her expertise extends to managing large-scale portfolios, financial forecasting, and optimizing processes and systems in post-merger environments.
Tracy is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of strong client relationships, ensuring that client needs are met while identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships. She leads the creation and execution of business growth strategies, conducting market analysis, identifying potential clients, and designing tailored solutions that align with both client needs and company objectives. As a leader, Tracy provides oversight for a diverse portfolio of projects, balancing priorities, resources, and timelines to ensure successful execution. She manages the PMO to ensure alignment with organizational goals, methodologies, and quality standards. Additionally, Tracy mentors and leads a high-performance team, driving accountability and fostering a culture of excellence to ensure the successful delivery of client projects. Her strategic thinking, leadership skills, and client-focused approach make her a key asset in driving business success and long-term growth.

Byron Madrid, P.Eng.

Director, Operations

Byron is a strategic and results-driven Project Management leader with extensive experience in the development and delivery of energy projects. With a strong background of over 32 years in managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement, and risk management, he has a proven ability to drive process improvements, manage change, and achieve operational excellence across diverse projects.

As Director of Operations, Byron is responsible for overseeing the scope, budget, and schedule management of all Operations projects. He plays a pivotal role in developing standards, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining strong client relationships. In addition to business unit growth, Byron sets the strategic direction and objectives for the organization. Byron leads and supports multiple teams, including Field Service, Business Projects, and Planning, Design & Drafting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the seamless execution of projects. With a strong focus on leadership and operational success, he is committed to driving continuous improvements and delivering exceptional results for QSP and our clients.
