Elevating Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards

As a cornerstone of our business, health, safety, and the environment are at the core of everything that we do. Through an unwavering focus, we’re continuously working to ensure the safety of our employees, the public we serve and the environment we live in.

Our health and safety policy underscores our commitment to the prevention of workplace injuries, for employees, contractors, visitors and the public.

Health & Safety Policy

At QSP Geographics Inc., ensuring the well-being of our employees in a safe and healthy work environment is our top priority. We are committed to taking every reasonable precaution to safeguard our employees from illness and injury in all situations. To achieve this, we have established a comprehensive Health and Safety Program designed to foster workplace health and safety. This program includes specialized training for all employees and ongoing monitoring of the workplace environment to always ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

We expect all individuals associated with our work sites, including subcontractors and visitors, to adhere to our company health and safety policies. They are required to comply with or surpass all applicable Ontario occupational health and safety legislation. The senior management team at QSP Geographics Inc. is dedicated to providing a work environment that prioritizes occupational health and safety. Open communication between our workforce and management is crucial, and with the support of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) and Health and Safety Representatives from our work teams, we are committed to taking all necessary steps to eliminate or minimize health and safety hazards.

It is imperative that all employees understand their shared responsibility in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment while contributing to the collective goals of:

1. Continually reducing the frequency and severity of workplace incidents leading to injuries or mental/physical illness.

2. Achieving the annual goal of zero lost time workplace injuries/illnesses.

Collaborative efforts and a focused approach to health and safety management are essential to meeting our shared objectives in support of a healthier and safer workplace.

As an organization dedicated to making a meaningful contribution to workplace health and safety, it is crucial for all of us to value and uphold this policy. QSP Geographics Inc. aims to stand as an example of excellence to our staff and those who serve.

and are responsible for their employees’ knowledge and compliance with safe work policies and procedures.

  1.     – Workers are responsible for performing their duties in a safe and healthy manner, reporting all unsafe/unhealthy conditions, and are encouraged to adopt a
safe and healthy lifestyle both on and off the job.
